Roussel-Fidele Ngankam-Hontcheu (born September 15, 1993 in Bafang ) is a German - Cameroonian football player . He was most recently under contract with VfB Eichstätt and is currently without a club. Roussel Ngankam is mostly used in the storm center.

Career

In his youth, Roussel Ngankam played at Hertha BSC and was used for the first time by coach Karsten Heine on December 10, 2011 in Hertha’s second team in a 2-1 win against VfB Lübeck . He scored his first two goals for the second team on February 12, 2012 in the 2: 5 defeat against the second team of Hannover 96 .

For the 2012/13 season he moved to 1. FC Nürnberg . He was used there in the second team. He made his debut for the second team in Nuremberg on August 7, 2012 in a 1-1 draw against FV Illertissen . Two game days later, in the 2-0 win against FC Eintracht Bamberg on August 18, 2012, he scored the 2-0 final score in the 89th minute and was able to celebrate his first goal.

For the 2014/15 season Roussel Ngankam moved to the Romanian first division club FC Botoșani and made his debut on August 24, 2014 in a 1-0 win against Universitatea Cluj . His first goal for his new club was in the 3-2 win over Dinamo Bucharest . In the 90th minute he scored the 3-2 result for his team.

The FC Botoșani did not extend the contract with Roussel Ngankam, which expired at the end of the season, and after a short period of non-membership he was obliged by SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . He celebrated his debut for SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in the 3rd division on September 12, 2015 in a 4-0 win against Werder Bremen's second team . He was substituted on by coach Rüdiger Rehm in the 79th minute for Pascal Breier . On March 9, 2016, he extended his contract to June 30, 2018.

Despite the contract extension, he left SG Sonnenhof on August 31, 2016 and joined the regional division Rot-Weiss Essen . After two seasons he left the club and was initially without a club. In February 2019 he finally joined VfB Eichstätt in the Regionalliga Bayern . With VfB Eichstätt, he won second place in the league, the Bavarian Amateur Championship, which entitles him to participate in the DFB Cup . After the 2018/19 season , he left the club.

Roussel's younger brother Jessica is also a professional soccer player.
