The salt is the reaction product from the reaction of fluorofluorosulfonate and rubidium hydroxide .
properties
The β-modification of rubidium fluorosulfonate crystallizes in an orthorhombic crystal system . It has the space group Pnma (space group no. 62) with the lattice parameters a = 8.7812 Å , b = 6.0318 Å and c = 7.5108 Å. The α-modification of the compound crystallizes in a triclinic crystal system.
