Rubinet

Rubinet is a red wine variety . The intersection of the new variety was made (German spelling: Victor Kraus) by Vilém Kraus at the Department of gardening and landscaping of the Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry Brno in Lednice . Rubinet is a cross between (Revolta x Alibernet) x André.

The variety was taken over in Germany by Hermann Jäger in Ockenheim and further processed in breeding. The Plant Variety Protection was granted only in the year of 2004. Therefore, there are currently only small test stocks.
