Rudolf Beirer

Rudolf Beirer (born February 11, 1871 in Unterletzen , † June 5, 1951 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian high school professor and politician ( CS ). Beirer was a member of the Lower Austria regional parliament , a regional councilor in the Lower Austrian regional government and a member of the Federal Council .

Life

After primary school, Beirer attended high school in Brixen , Innsbruck and Feldkirch . He then studied at the University of Innsbruck and completed his teaching degree with the academic degree Dr. phil off. Beirer had previously worked in a textile factory when he was twelve. After completing his studies, he was a high school professor in Trient , Mährisch-Schönberg , in the Waidhofen an der Thaya high school and from 1903 in Wiener Neustadt.

Beirer had been a member of the Catholic student union AV Austria Innsbruck since 1893 .

From 1913 to 1919 Breier held the office of deputy mayor, between 1919 and 1927 he represented the Christian Social Party in the municipal council of Wiener Neustadt. From May 20, 1919 to May 11, 1921, during the phase of separation between Vienna and Lower Austria, he was a member of the Lower Austrian Parliament, and from November 10, 1920 he was a member of the Lower Austria Land Curia. Breier was then from May 11, 1921 to October 30, 1934 again a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria and also its third president between May 21, 1932 and November 21, 1934. Breier also served as a member of the Provincial Government of Lower Austria between June 9, 1922 and May 21, 1932 and was a member of the Federal Council from December 1, 1920 to May 12, 1921 and from January 30, 1925 to May 20, 1927 . He also chaired the Federal Council from June 1, 1926 to November 30, 1926.
