Rudolf C. Bettschart

Rudolf Christoph Bettschart (born October 10, 1930 in Lucerne ; † March 30, 2015 in Küsnacht ; resident in Meilen and Schwyz ) was a Swiss publisher .

Bettschart learned the trade and from 1954 took care of the bookkeeping and organization of the Diogenes Verlag of his childhood friend Daniel Keel . From 1961, Bettschart was fully responsible for the publisher's financial affairs and five years later became an official partner of Keel. In 2011, Bettschart and Daniel Keel were awarded the Friedrich Perthes Medal by the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels .
