Misako Uno ( Japanese 宇 野 実 彩 子 Uno Misako ; born July 16, 1986 in Edogawa , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese actress , singer and dancer with the band AAA . She studied at the Shirayuri Women's College ( 白 百合 女子 大学 , Shirayuri joshidaigaku ). Her first film was The Grudge 2 , a Hollywood horror film from 2006. After that, she mainly starred in television series.

life and career

Uno is the youngest of three children of a speechwriter and a social worker. As a child she was inspired by Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson, as well as the musical Cats .

During her junior year of high school, she won the 2002 Avex Audition in 2002. She prevailed against tens of thousands of participants and signed a recording contract with Avex Artist Academy, an art school of the Avex Group.

She made her debut as an actress in 2006 as Mai Honda (本田 麻 依) in Takashi Kubota's art film Karera no Umi (彼 ら の 海) VIII -Sentimental Journey- .

Their experiences were recorded in 2011 as part of the Stepping stones series .
