Rudolf Dümchen

Rudolf Dümchen (born October 7, 1920 in Berlin - † April 8, 2017 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Dümchen did his Abitur at the Askanisches Gymnasium in Berlin-Tempelhof and was drafted into the Wehrmacht at the beginning of the Second World War in 1939 .

In 1945 Dümchen joined the CDU and in 1949 became a member of the Tempelhof district council . From 1951 to 1965 he was a district councilor in Tempelhof, and from 1959 as a department head for economics. In 1965, Siegmund Jaroch and Dümchen changed roles, and Dümchen became a member of the Berlin House of Representatives . There he was in parliament until 1971.

From 1961 Dümchen was chairman of the CDU Tempelhof, in 1968 Siegmund Jaroch also took over this function.

Rudolf Dümchen died on April 8, 2017 at the age of 96.
