Rudolf Küchler
Rudolf Küchler (born September 20, 1867 in Vienna , † 1954 ) was an Austrian sculptor .
life and work
Küchler studied at the Vienna Art Academy from 1883 to 1890 and then worked in Berlin .
Here he made sculptures for the Hotel Esplanade , the theater on Nollendorfplatz and for private houses. In Hamburg he made sculptures as facade decoration for the Berlin Hotel Excelsior .
On behalf of Julius Menadier , director of the Berlin Coin and Medal Cabinet , he designed commemorative medals for the First World War from 1914 to 1917 .
