Rudolf Kluger

Rudolf Kluger (born September 15, 1935 in Weidenau , Czechoslovakia , † September 16, 1984 in Memmingen ) was a politician ( CSU ).

In 1945, Kluger was expelled from his Sudeten German homeland and came to Memmingen. After elementary school he began an apprenticeship as a carpenter and passed the assistant examination with a state prize for the best technical and academic achievements. In evening classes at the municipal evening middle school in Munich , he acquired the secondary school leaving certificate. Afterwards he took the master class at the carpentry school in Tübingen . He was youth leader of the Catholic youth and chairman of the district youth association in Memmingen. In 1958 he joined the Bavarian financial administration. He studied tax law at the financial college in Herrsching am Ammersee and after the final examination held various positions within the financial administration. In 1964 he became a tax auditor, at the same time he began distance learning in theology and philosophy. He was then a tax agent and honorary member of the board of a non-profit housing association.

In 1966 Kluger became a member of the CSU, for which he sat on the Memmingen city council. From 1970 until his death he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
