Rudolf Lenhartz

Rudolf Lenhartz (born February 10, 1925 in Bünde , East Westphalia, † August 11, 1987 in Bad Wiessee ) was a German industrial manager.

Life

Lenhartz spent his life in Bünde until he graduated from high school . He then studied natural sciences from 1947 to 1948 at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and from 1949 to 1952 mining at the TH Aachen . He became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Bonn and the Corps Silesia , which at that time was based in Cologne and Aachen. As a graduate engineer and mountain trainee, he was at the Oberbergamt in Dortmund from 1953 to 1956 . After graduating as an assessor in the mining industry, he was employed at the Nordstern colliery until 1963 and was then plant manager at the Graf Moltke colliery until 1965 . After a first position on the board of directors at the Graf Moltke colliery, Lenhartz became general representative of Ruhrkohle AG in 1970 . From 1976 until his unexpected death after a heart operation he was chairman of the board of directors of Saarbergwerke .
