Rudolf Müller (* 1910 ; † unknown), also called Rudi , was a German football player .

Müller belonged to VfL Halle in 1896 as a defender , for whom he played point games from 1937 to 1940 in the Gauliga Mitte , one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . Before that, he was used from 1933 to 1937 in the second-rate Halle-Merseburg district class from which he and his team emerged victorious in 1935 and 1937 and took part in the promotion rounds to Gauliga Mitte. During his three years in Gauliga, he finished fifth and twice sixth with his team. On August 10, 1939, he played his only game in the 1935 competition for the Tschammerpokal , the cup competition for club teams; the first round match against Dresdner SC was lost 3-0.

Selection team

As a player in the district selection team in the middle , he first took part in the competition for the Adolf Hitler Cup in 1933 . After victories in the preliminary round and in the quarter-finals , he played the semi-final held in Magdeburg on July 16, 1933 , which was lost 6-2 to the Berlin-Brandenburg regional team . Two years later he took part in the competition for the national cup .
