Rudolf Pospieszczyk

Rudolf Pospieszczyk (* 1930 in Dresden , † 2003 in Regensburg ) was a German painter and gallery owner .

Life

Pospieszczyk came to Regensburg in 1947, trained as a ceramist from 1947 to 1950 and became a member of the artist group “Regenbogen” in 1951, and from 1969 to 1970 was a member of “Team 69” and “Team 70”. In 1977 he founded the “Studio-Galerie” and in 1980 became a member of the Esslingen artists' guild .

From 1996 he repeatedly participated in the Great East Bavarian Art Exhibition (GOK). He had solo exhibitions in the Regensburger Leeren Beutel (1990) and in the Max-Reger-Halle in Weiden idOPf. (1994) and at the Kunstverein Passau in the St. Anna-Kapelle (1997). In 2011 a memorial exhibition was held in his honor in Regensburg.

Together with Rudi Weichmann and Klaus Caspers, he designed the glass tower in the entrance area of ​​the Regensburg sewage treatment plant.
