Rudolf Schmidt (born August 11, 1862 ; † January 15, 1945 ) was a German architect and builder in Gera .

According to plans by Rudolf Schmidt, numerous Gera villas (see: Villas in Gera ) were built in the style of historicism and eclecticism at the beginning of the 20th century . The planning of the associated villa gardens in the landscape style is also attributed to him.
