Rudolf Wiggers

Rudolf Wiggers (born April 25, 1902 in Hamburg ; † unknown) was a German classical philologist and National Socialist racial ideologist .

Wiggers, son of a businessman and senator, studied classical philology and archeology in Rostock . After receiving his doctorate in 1927, he became a teacher in Rostock. From 1930 he worked as a lecturer and lecturer at the University of Rostock . In 1932 he joined the NSDAP and the NSLB . He became a Gau clerk for race issues in Gau Mecklenburg and published in teacher magazines. His “Rassebüchlein” followed the anti-Semitic ideas of Ludwig Ferdinand Clauss . In 1936 he organized a central Gau event on "racial science" in Schwerin with lectures on "racial science" by Clauss.

In 1955 Wiggers became associate professor at the University of Kiel. From 1959 to 1966 he was director of the Kiel School of Academics . He then became the state school director for a year, followed by Erwin Assmann's predecessor as director in 1967 .
