Rudolph Koelbel
Carl Rudolph Kölbel (born April 26, 1826 in Berlin ; † January 7, 1910 in Oldenburg ) was a Grand Ducal Oldenburgischer Hof - engraver and modeller as well as die cutter.
Life
Born in 1826 in the Kingdom of Prussia , Rudolf Kölbel attended the art and trade school in Berlin in his hometown and the Royal Academy there , where he was temporarily taught in the modeling class of August Fischer , where he was one of several students in 1844 for his achievements as an engraver was awarded the Small Silver Medal for Craftsmen .
Rudolf Kölbel was based in Berlin at Stallschreiberstrasse 47 around 1850 .

- around 1850: Several portraits modeled after life in wax, exhibited in a frame in 1850 in the state exhibition building in Berlin at XXXVII. Art exhibition of the Royal Academy of Arts
- around 1852: one portrait each of the ruling prince and the princess of Schaumburg-Lippe as well as the hereditary prince, the hereditary princess and other personalities, made from life, in one case after a death mask, exhibited in Berlin in 1852
- around 1856: On behalf of the Grand Duke of Oldenburg, life-size bust of the late Lord Chamberlain, Baron Alexander von Rennenkampff , made from a photograph and an earlier relief , exhibited in Berlin at the art exhibition of the Royal Academy of the Arts
- around 1861: Medal for Science and Art (Oldenburg) , donated by Nicolaus Friedrich Peter (1827–1900) and awarded only a few dozen times
- around 1866: Commemorative medal for the 1866 campaign , minted in Berlin at the medal mint L. Ostermann, formerly G. Loos
- Commemorative medal 1870/71
- around 1878: Medal for outstanding achievements in the field of art
