Ruedi Hunsperger

Rudolf "Ruedi" Hunsperger (born June 6, 1946 in Habstetten, Bolligen municipality ; † August 18, 2018 in Zollikofen ) was a Swiss wrestler .

After Hans Stucki from Bern, Hunsperger was the second wrestler to win wrestling three times . He won in Frauenfeld in 1966 , in Biel in 1969 and in Schwyz in 1974 . "Rüedu" was very popular as a wrestler. He was also a big favorite in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1972 , but did not take part because of the death of his father. In 1974 he did the trick at the Brünigschwinget, winning the festival with a maximum number of 60.00 points. Until then, no other wrestler had achieved this.
