Rufus is an American comedy television channel Nickelodeon from the year 2016 .
action
Manny arrives at a new school and has a hard time connecting. Only his classmate Paige befriends him. When he finds a mysterious amulet, he hangs it on his dog Rufus. One night, before going to bed, Manny desperately wishes to become more popular and make new friends. The next morning Rufus has turned into a boy by the amulet, which has magical powers. Manny takes Rufus to school with him, where he quickly becomes the most popular student. This in turn makes Manny jealous for misinterpreting some of Rufus' actions, but Paige is able to clear up the situation.
At the same time, a gang of gangsters is looking for the amulet. They discover Rufus at the school ball, whereupon they kidnap Manny in order to lure Rufus into her hiding place. However, together with Paige, Rufus manages to free Manny and overpower the gangsters. Unfortunately, the amulet breaks and Rufus turns back into a dog.
