Davis Cleveland (born February 5, 2002 in Houston , Texas ) is an American actor who became famous for his role as Flynn Jones in the US television series Shake It Up .

Life

Davis Cleveland's career began at a young age in advertising, where he initially worked primarily for local television commercials. After he moved to Los Angeles with his family over the course of time , he was also used there for national commercials and through these he got his first engagements in television. He finally made his first television appearance in 2008, when he played a kidnapped boy named Ricky in an episode of the Criminal Minds series . That same year he appeared on an episode of the hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother , where he played a kindergarten kid in the group supervised by Lily Aldrin (played by Alyson Hannigan ).

In 2009 he was seen in an episode of Desperate Housewives , in which he played a student again. He was also cast in the role of Robby Gunderson for the new Fox series Sons of Tucson that year , where he initially wanted to be included in the cast by the producers of the series in order to be used in the pilot. However, when the decision was made to include the series in the program in 2010, two of the leading roles were again advertised for casting and Cleveland was released from his role again. Instead, they found a replacement for Cleveland with Benjamin Stockham, who was about the same age . He was also able to book another assignment this year in the role of Tyler Harmon in an episode of Ghost Whisperer . The following year he appeared in two different episodes of Hannah Montana , where he appeared in two different roles.

In addition to another small role in an episode of Pair of Kings , the young actor also had a recurring role in the youth series Zeke and Luther from 2010 to 2011 , in which he was seen in the role of Roy Waffle . Cleveland was also cast in one of the main roles in the Disney series Shake It Up that year, which starred as Flynn Jones from 2010 to 2013 . Furthermore, the child actor mimed in two in 2011 sequels to the series Good Luck Charlie on the one hand the figure Walker and the other in the crossover episode Charlie Shakes It Up its existing character from Shake It Up . Despite his work in a wide variety of television productions, Davis Cleveland is still active in the advertising sector and annually receives several engagements with nationally and internationally known brands and companies.

He has also been featured in various print campaigns for the Disney group. Cleveland and fellow actors Bella Thorne , Zendaya , Adam Irigoyen , Roshon Fegan , Caroline Sunshine and Kenton Duty were nominated for their engagement in Shake It Up in 2011 and 2012 at the Young Artist Awards for Outstanding Cast in a TV Series.
