Rui Pedro Bragança (born December 26, 1991 in Guimarães ) is a Portuguese Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 58 kilograms.
Bragança came to Taekwondo through karate at the age of 13 , he started in his hometown for the association Koryo Taekwondo . He celebrated his first international success at the 2007 European Junior Championships in Baku , where he won bronze in the class up to 55 kilograms. He made his breakthrough in the adult field at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju . He surprisingly reached the final against Joel González and won the silver medal. At the European Championships in Manchester in 2012 , Bragança was eliminated in the quarter-finals.
