Career

Rui Pedro joined the FC Porto youth team in 2001 . After going through the youth teams there, he joined the first team in 2007, but was unable to assert himself there. In early 2008 he was loaned to league rival CF Estrela Amadora , where he came on four missions. In summer 2008 he was loaned to Portimonense SC for one year in the Segunda Liga , in summer 2009 again for one year in the Segunda Liga - this time to Gil Vicente FC . There he was able to score his first goals. Also in the summer of 2010, the FC Porto agreed a loan deal and Rui Pedro played in the 2010/11 season for Leixões SC in the Segunda League for promotion to the House of Lords.

In the summer of 2011 Rui Pedro left Portugal and moved to CFR Cluj in the Romanian League 1 . In his first season he only made 13 appearances in Cluj, but won his first title with the 2012 championship . In the following seasons he became a regular in the storm and placed himself with his team in the midfield of the league. In the summer of 2014, his contract was not renewed. He then returned to Portugal, where the Académica de Coimbra took him under contract. In the 2014/15 season he was part of the team with which he secured his place in the class. In the 2015/16 season he had to sit on the bench more often. After Coimbra's relegation in spring 2016, he left the club and joined the Bulgarian first division club CSKA Sofia .
