The Ruisseau de Fontaine Ronde (German: Runder-Brunnen-Bach) is a right tributary of the Doubs in the Jura in France in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region .

The Source intermittente de Fontaine-Ronde

The Ruisseau de Fontaine Ronde rises from the karst spring Source intermittente de Fontaine-Ronde (Eng. Intermittent spring of the round fountain) southeast of Montperreux , in the municipality of Touillon-et-Loutelet . The source is located in a narrow valley between the RN 57 and the Coni'Fer railway line . The spring water flows from a round, approximately 8 m wide basin, which was built in 1827. Every 5–15 minutes the pouring begins and then dries up again. Five other sources of this type are currently known in France, including the Fontaine intermittente de Fontestorbes .

After his source of Ruisseau de Fontaine Ronde runs north through to La Cluse-et-Mijoux belonging places La Gauffre and Les Vermots . In Les Angles , the 10 km long Morte flows into it. About 700 m after the Mote estuary, the Ruisseau de Fontaine Ronde flows into a swamp from the right into the Doubs .
