The Runes (in the upper reaches also: Ruisseau de la Fageole ) is a small mountain river in France that runs in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . It rises in the Cevennes National Park , on the southern flank of Mont Lozère , in the area of the municipality of Fraissinet-de-Lozère , generally drains south to southwest and after eight kilometers flows into the Tarn as a right tributary in the municipality of Bédouès .
