The Rupin Pass is a high mountain pass in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .
A 7-day trekking route leads over the Rupin Pass from the settlement of Dhaula in the south on the upper reaches of the Rupin to Sangla in the Sangla Valley . The pass has an altitude of 4650 m and crosses a mountain range south of the main Himalayan ridge. The Rupin Pass lies on the border between the districts of Shimla in the south and Kinnaur in the north. He is also on the watershed of the basins of the Indus and Ganges .
