Ruth Cyron-Noel
Ruth Cyron-Noél , née Ruth Schulz-Noél , also just Ruth Cyron , (born January 7, 1899 in Cottbus , † after 1945) was a German writer .
Life
Ruth Schulz-Noél was born in Cottbus, later she lived in the Westphalian cities of Soest and Dortmund ( Körne ). After her marriage she was called Ruth Cyron , as a writer she used the name Ruth Cyron-Noél .
The sources of her ancestry as well as her life and her literary work are ineffective and limited to rudimentary information in various lexical reference works and literature handbooks that originate from the author herself.
Her literary work only mentions a novel and a radio play, the novel is said to have been published in 1939. It is first mentioned in the 1942 list of writers published by the Reichsschrifttumskammer (RSK) . Although Cyron because of the smallness of their literary activities from the membership RSK or RSK-affiliated National Federation German writer was free (RDS), it belonged during the period of National Socialism to the circle of the Nazis 'recognized' writer.
After 1945 Ruth Cyron was a member of the West German Writers' Association and later in the successor organization Association of German Writers .
