Ryfylke
Ryfylke is a geographic area in the northeastern part of the Rogaland Province in Norway . It is north of Stavanger and south of Haugesund . The area includes the municipalities of Finnøy , Forsand , Hjelmeland , Kvitsøy , Rennesøy , Sauda , Strand and Suldal .
Ryfylke is one of 15 districts that together make up Vestlandet .

The Norwegian Scenic Route Ryfylke is one of a total of 18 “green roads” in Norway. This stretch between Oanes at Lysefjord and Hårå (Røldal) was officially opened in 2011 with the new nickname. The Norwegian Scenic Route Ryfylke is 183 km long and leads through a charming landscape, where green island idylls and well-tended agricultural land alternate with stone piles, bare rock faces, fjord panoramas and pass highlights.
