The Saxon Landsiedlung GmbH is the non-profit settlement companies in the Free State of Saxony , based in Meissen . It is a subsidiary of the Sächsische Aufbaubank - Förderbank .

history

Sächsische Landsiedlung GmbH was founded by a cabinet decision of the Saxon state government on June 4, 1991 as a subsidiary of the Free State of Saxony. The company was initially based in Markkleeberg . In 1993 the headquarters were relocated to Meißen.

Until June 30, 1993 the Sächsische Landsiedlung GmbH had no business of its own. Until then, the task of participating in the development of rural areas in Saxony was carried out by a branch office of Bayerische Landsiedlung GmbH in Meißen. On July 1, 1993, the operational business of this branch was transferred to Sächsische Landsiedlung GmbH, which started its business activities. Bayerische Landsiedlung GmbH became a partner in 1993 .

On January 1, 1997, the Free State of Saxony took over the shares of Bayerische Landsiedlung GmbH in Sächsische Landsiedlung GmbH.

In 2017, all shares in Sächsische Landsiedlung GmbH were transferred from the Free State of Saxony to Sächsische Aufbaubank - Förderbank, which has been the company's sole shareholder since then.

Business purpose

According to the statutes, the company's purpose is to participate in the development of rural areas. Business fields are the areas of real estate transport, services for structural improvement in rural areas and spatial planning / planning.

In the “ Real Estate Movement ” business area, the right of first refusal is checked and exercised in accordance with Section 4 of the Reich Settlement Act and the purchase and sale of agricultural land in rural areas for structural purposes.

In the business area “Services for structural improvement in rural areas”, the route securing for infrastructure projects is carried out on behalf of the Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH (DEGES) or the Deutsche Bahn .

Sächsische Landsiedlung GmbH is recognized by the land consolidation authorities of the Saxon districts as an approved helper according to the Agricultural Adaptation Act (LwAnpG). In the area of regional management, LEADER regions are looked after .
