The Sälzerbach is a more than one kilometer long right tributary of the Kahl in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

Surname

The Sälzerbach is named after the Sälzer Weg , an old salt trade route from Bad Sooden-Allendorf in the Rheingau , which ran along the course of the brook.

Source of the Sälzerbach

The Sälzerbach rises on the grounds of the poultry breeding association north of the forest swimming pool in Alzenau , where the animals are given water to drink.
