The Sère is a river in France that runs in the Occitania region . It rises near the hamlet of Brétous in the municipality of Castéron , generally drains in a north-easterly direction, is dammed twice and flows after 32 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Castelsarrasin and an enclave of the municipality of Castelmayran as a left tributary into a tributary of the Garonne . On its way, the Sère crosses the Gers and Tarn-et-Garonne departments .
