La Ruche School
In 1904 he founded a boarding school La Ruche for poor children near Rambouillet, which existed until 1917, on the basis of a liberal education. Motto: Qui cherche, fait l'effort. (Those who do research work hard.) It was inspired by other reform education schools such as the orphanage of Cempuis (Paul Robin) from 1880 to 1894 and the Modern School in Barcelona in 1901 ( Francisco Ferrer ). The school had to close because of the world war.
