Sébastien Siani (born December 21, 1986 in Douala ) is a Cameroonian - Belgian football player .

Career

society

Siani's career began with club football at the Kadji Sports Academy and in the Union Douala youth division . In 2005 he switched to the youth team at RSC Anderlecht . Here he was integrated into the professional squad in 2005 and completed three league games in his first season. In January 2007 he was loaned to SV Zulte Waregem for half a year . For the 2007/08 season he was awarded for one year at Royale Union Saint-Gilloise . From July 2008 to July 2010 there was another loan, this time to VV St. Truiden . After this loan he played at RSC Anderlecht until January 2011. He then played for FC Brussels until July 2011 and then moved permanently to the club. Here he was under contract until January 2013 and was then without a club for a month. From February 2013 he will play for KV Ostend . He stayed there until the summer of 2017 and then went to Royal Antwerp for six months .

In January 2018, Siani moved on to the al-Jazira Club in the UAE Arabian Gulf League . Two years later, league rival Ajman Club took him under contract.

National team

The first appearance for the Cameroonian national soccer team followed on October 11th, 2015 in a friendly against the Nigerian national soccer team . He scored his first goal in the qualifying game for the 2017 African Football Championship against the South African national football team . He won the title with the national team at the 2017 African Cup of Nations. He also took part in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia . By May 27, 2018, he had played a total of 27 games in which he scored twice.
