Séverine Ferrer (born October 31, 1977 in Montpellier ) is a French singer and actress who took part in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest .

Séverine grew up on the French island of Réunion . In 1991 she moved to Paris with her parents , where she planned to become an actress. She recorded her first successes with a few small supporting roles in series and as a singer. Today she lives and works in Monaco .

In 2006 she represented the Principality of Monaco at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens . In the semifinals she reached the 21st place with a total of 14 points with her song La coco-dance , so she was eliminated and could not take part in the final.
