Minouche Barelli

Minouche Barelli (born December 13, 1947 in Paris , † February 20, 2004 in Monaco ; real name Marie-Pierre Barelli ) was a French- Monegasque singer . She was the daughter of Aimé Barelli and Lucienne Delyle .

Minouche Barelli published her first songs in 1966.

In 1967 , the then 19-year-old singer represented the Principality of Monaco at the Grand Prix Eurovision ( Eurovision Song Contest ) in Vienna and placed fifth with the title Boum Badaboum , which was unusual for the time . Her father Aimé Barelli accompanied her as a conductor . The composer of the Monegasque contribution was Serge Gainsbourg , the Frenchman won the Grand Prix 1965 for Luxembourg as a songwriter with Poupée de cire, poupée de son .

Minouche Barelli became a national of Monaco in 2002.

Minouche Barelli died completely unexpectedly on February 20, 2004 in Monaco.
