SBK X: Superbike World Championship is a racing game developed by Milestone Interactive and was released on May 28, 2010, by Black Bean Games . The racing game used the current license for the superbike season .

Gameplay

SBK X has the current Superbike season license , with all teams, tracks and drivers in the Superstock , Supersport and Superbike classes , the first two being from 2009, while the Superbikes are from 2010.

The game has two game modes, arcade mode and simulation mode. In the simulation mode you start a career in which you try to achieve as many victories as possible in several seasons, here the whole race weekend is simulated. The arcade mode has the story mode, in which you have to complete individual tasks during the races.

SBK X offers slightly improved graphics compared to its predecessor. The game advertises above all with a sky simulated in 3D and many elaborate route details.

In multiplayer mode you can compete against up to 15 other players, in simulation mode and arcade mode.

reception

More game modes, all current drivers, machines, tracks, improved physics and a really great engine sound: motorcycle fans should grab it. Michael Trier

After the disappointing SBK 09, the 2010 vintage is even stronger. Revised presentation, new arcade mode, streamlined career mode, "real" team-mates - these are just a few points that make SBK X much more attractive. Stefan Schröder

The arcade modes play nice due to the simple controls, but after a few races the air is out. Manfred Reichl

However, the official game for the racing series did not convince me despite licensed drivers and racing teams. Manfred Reichl
