The SV 06 Lehrte (officially: Sportverein 06 Lehrte eV ) is a sports club from Lehrte in the Hanover region , which is primarily dedicated to football . The first team played from 1949 to 1952 as Lehrter SV in the highest amateur league in Lower Saxony. In 2010 the association was awarded the Julius Hirsch Prize .
history
The club was on 14 October 1906 as FC Germania Lehrte established and changed his name later in Lehrter SV , merged in 1928 with the Lehrter SC 1920 for Sports Association 06 Lehrte . In 1930 the Reichsbahn TSV Lehrte was founded, which one year later with the swimming club Lehrte v. 1921 merged to form the Reichsbahn SSV Lehrte . On September 10, 1938, the sports association, the Reichsbahn SSV and MTV Lehrte, founded in 1874, merged to form Lehrter SV 1874 . On November 18, 1939 it became the Reichsbahn SG Lehrte . After the end of the Second World War , the lawn SV Lehrte was founded, from which today's Lehrter SV became.
In 1949, after a playoff against TSV Gnarrenburg , the teachers were promoted to the then second-class amateur league Lower Saxony East. After three years of relegation battle, he was relegated to amateur league 4 in 1952 , where the LSV was promptly passed into the district league. At that time there were internal disputes. The footballers wanted sovereignty over their own finances, which the club as a whole refused. As a consequence, the football department resigned and on June 30, 1954, resuming the pre-war traditions, SV Lehrte 06 was founded. Under this name, they were promoted to Amateur League 7 in 1955 , which they belonged to until the division in 1964. Then you played in the newly created Association League East , from which you relegated in 1966 as bottom of the table again.
The club's league team played for many years in the Hanover regional league after the Lower Saxony regional reform . On September 22, 1985, the team defeated the then first division club Hannover 96 in a friendly 4-3. In 1986 the teachers made it to the Landesliga West , to which they belonged for three seasons. After relegation in 1989, he was directly promoted again, followed by five more national league years. In 1994 the SV was in the Landesliga West after massive financial problems and a personal exodus with only three points last and rose after a league reform in the sixth-class Landesliga Hannover , where the team was passed through to the district league a season later. After years in the district league Hannover-Land, the team rose again to the district league for the 19/20 season.
