The SV Adler 09 Niederfischbach eV is a German football club founded in 1909 , with its seat in the local community Niederfischbach within the Rhineland-Palatinate community of churches (Sieg) in the district of Altenkirchen (Westerwald) .
history
Post-war period and return to the amateur league
The first team made it to the 1950/51 season ascent to the Rhineland regional league , which at that time was still second class , but had to go down with 24:36 over 15th place in the North Season, but after just one season they were relegated.
For the 1955/56 season , the team returned to the now third-class single-track amateur league Rhineland. With 26:30 points this time they managed to stay in league over twelfth place. From the next season, the league was then finally two-pronged, with the eagles being classified in the East relay. Here we managed to stay in the league for a long time. In 1958 they even reached the final of the Rhineland Cup, but lost there 3-1 against the Sportfreunde Herdorf in Betzdorf . Only after the league became single-track again after the 1962/63 season , the team had to leave the class with 17:31 points over eleventh place and relegate to the 2nd amateur league.
Current time
In the 2002/03 season the club played in the Rhineland district league , then had to relegate to the district league A Westerwald / victory with 23 points over 13th place after the structural reform . With 35 points they ended up in eighth place at the end of the next season. After the 2010/11 season, the team finally took first place with 60 points. However, this one had to share with the SG Westerburg, whereby there was a playoff for promotion, this was then lost there with 3: 1, so the team was not allowed to rise. To this day, the team also played in the district league A.
