The SV Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf (completely: Spielvereinigung Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf 1970 eV ) is a football club from the towns of Ahlerstedt and Ottendorf in the Stade district . The first women's soccer team plays in the fourth-class Oberliga Niedersachsen. After relegation in 2016, the first men's team has been back in the six-class Landesliga Lüneburg since the 2017/18 season .

Women's soccer
In 2004 he was promoted to the Regionalliga Nord. In the first season, the team was fourth. In the 2009/10 season , third place was achieved, the best final placement to date. In 2015 the team was relegated from bottom of the table in the Lower Saxony Oberliga. With Lena Petermann , SV Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf produced a Bundesliga player.
Men's soccer
The men of SV Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf made it into the Association League North in 1976 , where they played for two years. After relegation, it took ten years before they returned to fifth division with promotion to the Landesliga West . After one season, the team moved to the eastern group, where they reached the zenith in 1991 with fifth place. Three years later, after a league reform, the team was divided into the Lüneburg regional league. In the 2008/09 season, the team became champions and rose to the Oberliga Niedersachsen-Ost . There they reached twelfth place, but had to relegate again due to a league reform. In 2016, the team relegated to the district league for the first time in 37 years, but was able to return to the regional league immediately in the next season. The team finished the promotion season in 9th place.
The team won the Stade District Cup in 1976 and the Lüneburg District Cup in 2008. With Tobias Duffner and Jannik Löhden , the club produced two third division players.
The home games are played in the stadium at the Auetal (1,500 seats). SV Ahlerstedt / Ottendorf has currently reported five men's teams to play.
