Saša Ilić ( Macedonian Саша Илиќ ; born September 5, 1970 in Skopje ) is a former North Macedonian goalkeeper and today's football coach.

Player career

Saša Ilić began his career with Vardar Skopje and FK Partizan Belgrade before moving to Busan IPark in the South Korean K League in 1995. From 1997 to 2000, Hamburger SV signed him, but he did not have a single assignment.

Ilić played for Persepolis FC during the 2003/04 season and then moved to Esteghlal Ahvaz for the 2004/2005 season . He then worked for Pegah Gilan from 2005 to 2007 . He had an impressive record for Damash Gilan in the 2006/07 season, in which he only conceded two goals in 19 games. After this season Ilić ended his playing career prematurely, but had a brief comeback for one season at FK Gorno Lisiče six years later .

In 1997 and 2005 Ilić also completed five missions for the national team of Macedonia . He played his last game in Macedonia's 1-0 win against Paraguay on November 13, 2005.
