The Saarhölzbach is a flowing body of water in the area of ​​the municipalities of Losheim am See and Mettlach in the Merzig-Wadern district in Saarland .

The right tributary of the Saar has its source northwest of Britten , a district of Losheim am See. From there it flows south and flows through the 153 ha large nature reserve Saarhölzbachtal - Zunkelsbruch . The stream then flows in a south-westerly, then in a westerly direction and reaches the Saarhölzbach district of Mettlach . It crosses under the B 51 and flows into the Saar immediately not far from the Saarhölzbach bridge.
