The Sabie (English Sabie River, port. Rio Sábiè ) is a left tributary of the Komati in South Africa and Mozambique .

The Sabie rises at 1,100 meters at the foot of the 2,286 meter high Mount Anderson in the Mpumalanga highlands in South Africa. It crosses the province to the east and flows through the Kruger National Park . There is a very diverse fauna and flora on its banks . One of its tributaries is the sand . The Sabie crosses the border into Mozambique and flows directly afterwards into the Corumana Dam . A good 25 km after leaving the reservoir, it flows as a tributary into the Komati. This flows into the Indian Ocean .

Hydrometry

The discharge rate of the Sabie was measured in m³ / s at the Lower Sabie station, about 50 km from its mouth (1988 to 2011).
