Sabine Dahinden
Sabine Dahinden (born August 14, 1968 in Altdorf ) is a Swiss television presenter .
Sabine Dahinden has been with Swiss television since 1995 ; she is currently the presenter and editor of the show Schweiz aktuell there .
Life
In 1988 she did her Matura Type B at the Karl Borromäus College (Uri Cantonal School) in Altdorf. She then studied German at the University of Bern , completing her studies (German literary and cultural history, French, history) in 1994 with a master's degree in education. From 1994 to 1995 she worked as an editor / reporter at Radio Sunshine in the canton of Zug. In 1995 Sabine Dahinden began working for Swiss television as a presenter and editor of the TAF (daily television) program. In 1998 she moved to the editorial office of Schweiz aktuell as a trainee , where she also became a reporter in June 2000/ Became an editor. Since March 2001 she has also been the presenter of the show. In 2008 she made a brief exchange of moderation with the ORF and appeared several times on “Wien heute”.
In addition to countless daily live broadcasts throughout Switzerland and reports, she moderated various live broadcasts on Swiss television lasting several hours. Since 2011 she has had her own SRF summer series with cheerful topics and exciting encounters in Switzerland. On May 8, 2016, Sabine Dahinden won the Prix Walo in the crowd favorite category. She regularly moderates special events on behalf of foundations, writes columns and speeches and appears at readings.
Private
Sabine Dahinden has been married to the cardiac surgeon and university professor Thierry Carrel since September 2010 . Felix Schenker , editor-in-chief of the Swiss cultural broadcaster arttv.ch and the Swiss pop singer Leonard are her cousins.
