Sabine Dirlich

Sabine Dirlich (born August 27, 1954 in Loburg ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). She was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt from 1994 to 2016 .

Life and work

Sabine Dirlich attended the Polytechnische Oberschule until 1971 , then did vocational training as a chemical skilled worker and graduated in 1974 with the Abitur. She then completed her studies to become a certified teacher. From 1978 to 1989 she worked as a teacher of civics and history in ways of life and Wefensleben . From 1989 to 1991 she was a member of the SED - PDS district committee in Wanzleben . She is divorced and has two children.

Politics / party

Dirlich joined the SED in 1972 and was a member of various district assemblies and a councilor.

In 2004 she became a member and parliamentary group leader in the Schönebeck city ​​council , and since 2007 she has been a member of the Salzlandkreis district council and is chairwoman of the parliamentary group. For the PDS she moved into the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt in 1994 ( 2nd electoral period ) and was a member of it until 2016. There she has been active as the labor market policy spokeswoman for the left-wing parliamentary group from the start and is also a member of the Economic and Labor Committee. Another focus of her work is senior citizens policy.
