Sabine Poschmann
Sabine Poschmann (born October 4, 1968 in Castrop-Rauxel ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the 19th German Bundestag for the Dortmund II constituency .
Life
Sabine Poschmann is married, has a son and lives in her constituency in Aplerbeck .
Professional career
Poschmann completed vocational training as an industrial clerk from 1985 to 1988, followed by further training as a business economist (VWA) . From 1988 to 1994 she was a personnel administrator, and from 1992 to 1994 she was responsible for personnel deployment and planning at Dortmunder Stadtwerke AG. From 1995 to 2000 she worked as a business economist for fundamental issues and contract law and from 2000 to 2012 press spokeswoman and municipal manager at DEW21 ( Dortmunder Energie- und Wasserversorgung GmbH). From 2012 to 2013 she was regional manager at DEW21. During her career at Dortmunder Stadtwerke AG and Dortmunder Energie- und Wasserversorgung GmbH, she was involved as a youth representative, works councilor and chairwoman of the SPD operating group. Based on this experience, the interests of employees have become particularly important to them.
Political career
Sabine Poschmann has been a member of the SPD since 1985. From 2010 to 2014 she was chairwoman of the SPD district of Aplerbeck and has been a member of the SPD sub-district executive since 2012. For many years she was chairwoman of the Aplerbeck local association and from 1999 to 2009 a member of the Dortmund City Council. From 2004 onwards, Sabine Poschmann was the deputy chairman of the parliamentary group, with a focus on business and employment promotion as well as the environment, urban development and housing.
MPs
In the 2013 election she was able to win the constituency of Dortmund II with 46.7% of the votes. She is a full member of the Committee for Economic Affairs and Energy and a deputy member of the Interior Committee as well as a full member of the Regional Economic Policy and ERP Economic Plans subcommittee. Poschmann has been deputy economic and energy policy spokesperson for the SPD parliamentary group since October 2015. In addition, she is the representative of the SPD parliamentary group for small and medium-sized businesses and the skilled trades and a member of the SME advisory board of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy . In November 2015 she was elected to the board of the Berlin Network . In the Bundestag election on September 24, 2017, she again entered the Bundestag directly for the constituency of Dortmund II with 38.8% of the first votes.
