Sabine Völkers

Sabine Völkers (* 1967 in Stade ) is a German illustrator .

Life

Völkers studied from 1988 to 1994 at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in the field of design (now HAW Hamburg ) with Rüdiger Stoye . This was followed in 1991 by a semester abroad in Prague at the Vysoká škola uměleckoprůmyslová with Jiři Šalamoun.

Since 1994 Völkers has been working as a freelance illustrator for various newspapers, book and magazine publishers and companies: Rowohlt , Cecilie Dressler Verlag , Haffmans Verlag , Oesch Verlag , Oldenbourg , Cornelsen , Langenscheidt , Die Zeit , Süddeutsche Zeitung , Berliner Zeitung , Financial Times Deutschland , Handelsblatt , Mare , Psychology Today , Family & Co , Hörzu , Eisbär-Eis , Hahn-Film u. a.
