Saint-Denis church

Saint-Denis-du-Pin is a formerly independent municipality in the arrondissement of Saint-Jean-d'Angély , Charente-Maritime department in France and belonged to the canton of Saint-Jean-d'Angély . The inhabitants are called Diony-Sapinois .

On January 1, 2016, the place was united with the commune of La Benâte, which was also independent until then, to form the new commune ( Commune nouvelle ) Essouvert .

Saint-Denis-du-Pin is about 49 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle .
