Saint-Patrice was a community with least 668 inhabitants (1 January 2013) in Indre-et-Loire in the region of Center-Val de Loire in France . Since 2017, Saint-Patrice has been one of three districts and the administrative seat of the newly created municipality of Coteaux-sur-Loire .
geography
Saint-Patrice is located about 40 kilometers west of Tours and ten kilometers from Langeais on the right bank of the Loire , as well as on the parallel river Lane . The municipality was part of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park .
The place has a train station on the Tours – Saint-Nazaire railway line .
history
The first mention of the place comes from the year 920.
On January 1, 2017, the commune of Saint-Patrice merged with Saint-Michel-sur-Loire and Ingrandes-de-Touraine to form the new commune of Coteaux-sur-Loire.
