Sainte-Lunaise is a former commune with last 17 inhabitants (2016) in the department of Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Bourges and the Canton of Trouy (until 2015: Canton of Levet ).

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Corquoy and Sainte-Lunaise were merged to form Commune nouvelle Corquoy of the same name . The former municipalities were not granted the status of Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Corquoy.

geography

Sainte-Lunaise is located about 18 kilometers south-southwest of Bourges in central France . Sainte-Lunaise is surrounded by the villages of Arçay in the north, Levet in the north and east, Serruelles in the southeast, Châteauneuf-sur-Cher in the east, Corquoy in the southwest and Lapan in the west.
