Sainteny is a village and a former French community with 884 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former communes of Sainteny and Saint-Georges-de-Bohon were merged into a nouvelle commune called Terre-et-Marais and have the status of a commune déléguée in the new commune . The administrative headquarters are located in Sainteny.
