Terre-et-Marais is a French commune with 1,295 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Manche department in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Lô and the canton of Carentan .
It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the former communes of Sainteny and Saint-Georges-de-Bohon , which have the status of a commune déléguée in the new commune . The administrative headquarters are located in Sainteny.
