Condé-sur-Vire is a French commune with 4,027 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Lô and the canton of Condé-sur-Vire . The inhabitants are called Condéens .
With effect from January 1, 2016, Condé-sur-Vire was merged with the former municipality of Le Mesnil-Raoult and transformed into a commune nouvelle under the same name. On January 1, 2017, the previously independent municipality of Troisgots was added. All former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

geography
Condé-sur-Vire is located on the River Vire . Condé-sur-Vire is surrounded by the villages of Saint-Lô in the north, La Barre-de-Semilly in the north and northeast, Saint-Jean-d'Elle with Saint-Jean-des-Baisants in the northeast, and Saint-Amand in the east , Torigni-sur-Vire in the southeast, Brectouville in the south, until the merger: Troisgots in the southwest and Le Mesnil-Raoult in the west, Saint-Romphaire in the west, La Marcellière-sur-Vire , Sainte-Suzanne-sur-Vire and Baudre in the north-west.
The national route 174 runs through the municipality .
