Rampan is a French commune of the department , some 204 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Normandy . Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Pont-Hébert (until 2015: canton of Saint-Lô-Ouest ) and the arrondissement of Saint-Lô . The inhabitants are called Rampanais .
geography
Rampan is about four kilometers northwest of Saint-Lô . Rampan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pont-Hébert in the north and west, La Meauffe in the north-east, Saint-Georges-Montcocq in the south and east, Agneaux in the south and Thèreval in the south-west.
